We built our own custom content management systems for many years, beginning back in 2001 or 2002. Starting in 2006 we focused heavily on WordPress as the primary CMS used in client sites. In late 2010 we reached a point where we had outgrown WordPress in a number of critical ways and we began our conversion to Drupal, a very robust content management system.
We're proud to now base the majority of our websites on Drupal 7. While Drupal is a sophisticated tool that requires extensive expertise to fully utilize, in the hands of an expert it is second to none for building beautiful, feature-rich interactive sites.
